On January 30, 2015 the 3rd annual Florida MMA Award Show powered by Fighter Energy and NAPA Auto Parts will take place at the Newport BeachSide Resort in Sunny Isles. A lot has happened in 2014 with New Promotions trying their luck in the business of MMA and veteran promoters throwing in the towel for 2014. This year the event will be FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC. For VIP Experience, there is a charge of $35.00 which includes a full entree.
In 2014, the State of Florida produced 23 Pro-MMA shows throughout the entire State of Florida. Within those 23 shows, there were 304 MMA fighters who participated. Some fighters fought 4 times in 2014 while others fought only once. The 23 shows consist of 2 outside Pro MMA companies that took a chance in the Florida community to showcase fighters Nationwide.
In 2013 we recognized the amount of Amateur Fighters who were stepping into the cage to try their luck at Pro-status. The difference in numbers between the Pro's and the amateur fighters for 2013 were off the charts. There were over 900 amateur fighters compared to 127 pro fighters. There were over 90 amateur events throughout Florida, compared to the 14 Pro shows in Florida. With those numbers, we could not ignore the amateur world of MMA so we added a few categories such as : "Best Male Amateur MMA Fighter" and "Best Female Amateur MMA Fighter".
On January 30, 2015 the 3rd annual Florida MMA Awards will be held at the Newport BeachSide Resort in Sunny Isle Florida. This red carpet black tie event is brought to you buy Fighter Energy Drink & NAPA Auto Parts and will be held to recognize those who kept the sport of Mma alive in 2014. It is a night of celebration in which over 20 awards will be given out to the Florida MMA Community.
This red carpet event is FREE and Open to the public, but for those who are looking for the VIP experience, we are offering a FULL entree with special seating for only $30.00.
